The Elderly Hole Guard is a character in The Shawshank Redemption.
Character Biography[]
He was a guard at Shawshank State Prison. In 1966, after Andy Dufresne was put in the hole for a month, the guard gave him food, and told him that Tommy Williams had passed the GED with a C+ average.
